The state of the art design allows the safety corridor, without compromising safety measures, to be opened up to the elements during summer months allowing it to feel like being outside but during inclement weather enclosed to keep guests warm and snug. Each chalet is designed for up to 2 cats with a couple of chalets large enough to accommodate up to 4 cats from the same home. Each of our chalets has its own private covered exercise area with a exploration shelf which includes a built in ramp down to floor level to aid elderly cats to second level shelves. The individual chalet exercise area is accessed via a covered safety corridor which runs the length of the cattery. Guests own sleeping basket can be brought to help make them feel at home, but beds and bedding can also be provided if required. An additional cat snuggle bed is provided on the observation shelf to ensure your cats are comfy as they gaze across the open countryside. Each chalet also has scratching posts and cat toy to ensure your cat has an enjoyable stay as well as cat litter trays and litter provided included in the daily fee. Each chalet is thoroughly cleansed between guests and kept to the same high standard throughout the stay. Sneeze barriers between each chalet ensure that cats have no direct contact between neighbouring chalets. Litter trays are checked frequently throughout the day and cleaned as required. A range of popular cat feeds are available. We do aim to give our guests their normal diet. If your cat is on a specialist diet then please bring enough with you to last your cats stay on arrival. Reservations can also be made via telephone 07934873622 or by email unstonefarmcattery@gmail.com. We will then send you a booking form and reserve your place for 24 hours until a deposit/ payment is made. The booking form includes our terms and conditions and an additional form to authorize emergency veterinary treatment. Your reservation is not confirmed until a £40 deposit is made and the completed booking form together with a copy of the cat’s current vaccination certificate is received. For booking during the Derbyshire/Sheffield County Council School Holidays the balance payment is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. For bookings less than 3 days payment in full is required within 24 hours before the reservation is confirmed. There is a minimum booking period / charge of four days over the Christmas and New year period. Payments are required, in full, within 24 hours of making a reservation in order to confirm your booking. Any balance outstanding for your boarding fee is payable 24 hours before arrival by BACS or by cash on arrival. Your cat’s vaccination record. Optional: Any beddings or blankets which your cat usually uses to help them settle in quickly. (Unstone Farm Cattery’s bedding and blankets are available is required) Cat’s collar must be removed prior to boarding for safety reasons. Any of your cat’s favourite toys or cat scratchers (we have a wide range of toys and scratch posts available if required) Please bring any grooming brushes or combs if you require us to groom your cat whilst on their vacation with us. Any routine oral medication your cat might already have prescribed. We also offer a local delivery collection/delivery service. Minimum charge £10/trip up to 5 miles.
